Multifunctional garden ponds and reservoirs

The bachelor's thesis deals with the issue of garden ponds and reservoirs with a focus not only on technical design, but also on long-term maintenance of water quality. The main part of the work is devoted to a more detailed description of materials intended for the construction of garden ponds, technical equipment, or the arrangement of individual zones in the pond. Furthermore, the work deals with a detailed description, parameters and character of selected types of reservoirs, such as ponds intended for fish farming, or natural bathing habitats. Last but not least, the work is conceived as a literary search of fundamental knowledge in the field of implementation of garden ponds and their maintenance. The theoretical knowledge is followed by the second part of the work, focused on the design of two variants of the design of a garden pond for a selected investor.

Detached House with Terraristic Facilities

This thesis describes the design of the project a family house with a background for the terraristics. The house is designed as a three-floor, one floor is composed of basement. Structural system is used Porotherm. The house is designed as a premium for a family with two or three children. The house has plenty of room for relaxation and fun. In the house is a room for the terraristics, separate laundry room, utility room and several storage areas. Housing complements the wellbeing of a large garden with a pond for ornamental fish breeding.

This bachelor theses deals with topic of garden ponds – swimming biotops. Processes this subject and it’s current situation. Provides fundamental summary about planning and realization of swimming biotops. Based on postrealization analysis of chosen objects points to frequent mistakes and flaws in practise. Gained knowledge is applied in own ideological study of swimming pond.
